About the Author of LWMFCrafts
I’m Alexandra ,a mom of three and a passionate DIY enthusiast and craft educator with over 16 years of hands-on experience in creative projects and handmade crafts.
My journey began from a very simple question: “Can I make this myself?” As a mother, I often wanted to create fun, meaningful, and budget-friendly activities for my children. That curiosity slowly turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I explored hundreds of craft projects, made plenty of mistakes, learned through real experience, and discovered what truly works in everyday crafting.
I created LWMFcrafts because I noticed that most craft guides only show steps, but rarely explain the real understanding behind them. Here, I focus on breaking every project into simple, clear steps so that beginners, parents, and even experienced crafters can easily follow along and actually enjoy the process.
As a mom, I also understand how important it is to keep activities simple, safe, and engaging for kids while making sure they are meaningful and creative at the same time. That perspective naturally shapes everything I share.
My goal is simple: to save your time, save your money, and help you enjoy crafting as a peaceful, creative, and family-friendly experience.
Who Inspired Me
If I’m being honest my biggest inspiration was my mother.
She never believed in wasting what could be reused or created again. An old dupatta would quietly turn into a doll. A simple cardboard box would become a little kitchen set for us to play with. She never really called it crafting; she simply called it making things work with love and imagination. But watching her turn ordinary things into something beautiful planted a seed in me that has stayed with me ever since.
That is exactly what LWMFcrafts stands for. The belief that you do not need expensive materials or fancy tools to create something meaningful. You just need curiosity, patience and the willingness to try.
Through this platform I want every parent child and beginner to feel the same joy I felt growing up watching my mother create magic from simple things. Because sometimes the most beautiful creativity starts at home with what you already have.
